Dolly Parton Felt Right At Home
Being a country singer, you’d think Dolly Parton felt out of place in New York City’s club scene. As it turns, Studio 54’s owners were afraid she’d feel that way too when they threw a soirée in her honor in 1978. So, they decided to deck out the nightclub with haystacks and live animals for a farm-themed bash.
And as you can see from the delighted look on her face, Parton was happy with the results. The Jolene singer didn’t disappoint either coming in looking her best with her black chiffon dress and her usual blonde curls.
