Teenage Brooke and Mariel Out On The Town
Hopefully, Brooke Shields and Mariel Hemingway weren’t encouraged to drink alcohol the night the teens went out on the town and checked out the famous Studio 54 everybody was talking about those days. Shields was likely around 13 and Hemingway 16 when this moment was snapped.
And while the legal drinking age in the US wasn’t adjusted to 21 until the ‘80s, New York City still required a person to be at least 18 to drink. Shields’ mother was likely just behind the scenes though as she was known to be protective of the Endless Love star.
