Karen Bjornson In Her Halstonette Heydays
The stunning Nordic beauty you see here is Karen Bjornson, best known for modeling for designer Halston in the ‘70s. Together with a diverse group of statuesque women, a young The Addams Family star Anjelica Huston included, she became known as a Halstonette and jet-set across the world with Halston.
But when she wasn’t in his studio, it seems like she spent her nights at another, much livelier studio. Bjornson would retire from the limelight in the late ’80s to raise her children but would make an occasional return to modeling including a stint for Allure in 2010 in her 50s.
