Most women would be happy to get any diamond ring from their fiance, but Prince Harry went the extra mile to make the engagement ring he presented to Meghan even more special and memorable. In an interview, he explained that he used yellow gold for the actual band because it was Meghan’s favorite.
Two of the three diamonds on the ring are from his mother’s personal jewelry collection. The center diamond is also very special since it’s from Botswana, where his mother visited before she died, and famously walked through an active minefield. It’s also the first place he, William, and Prince Charles went after her death.
