One of the strangest photos of pointing a gun
The punt gun became so powerful that it was banned for being too effective. This gun was built in the early 19th century when the demand for duck hunting increased. When we talk about effectiveness, we mean that it was capable of killing between 50 to 100 waterfowl with a single shot. This caused a drop in the duck population, which generated alerts. Fortunately, regulation in the first two decades of the 20th century put an end to guns of this style and with it a growth in the duck population.
