Born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri, Cori Bush worked as a preschool teacher until 2001. She then went into the medical field and obtained a nursing degree from Lutheran School of Nursing and became a nurse. That’s not all, though. She is also a pastor who, as of 2020, has been a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Missouri’s 1st district.
Bush hasn’t put much out there when it comes to her personal life, and even her husband’s name remains a mystery. We know that the parents of two have been through some rough times together, though, having been homeless for over a year.
