Orbit, the Houston Astros mascot, tops our list yet again for his passion for dancing, even though he’s frequently defeated at it. But this image offers a different narrative. He didn’t set a task that he just couldn’t win, instead opting for a whole new routine.
He decided to inform sports fans of whatever they were losing in the late superstar by channeling his inner Michael Jackson. The mascot performed the moonwalk, one of Jackson’s most iconic dance moves that sent the world into a frenzy when it was featured in his “Billie Jean” performance “Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever” in May 1983.
