We’re not sure what the stunt was supposed to be, but this doesn’t look like it went according to plan. Judging from the look on the guy’s face, it appears he knows that he messed up the routine because it looks like he was supposed to catch the cheerleader in the air.
The picture was well-timed to show the looming disaster, but it’s also not completely clear how the error came about. He only hopes that girl is safe because it looks like she’ll be landing right on her face, and we can imagine how painful that would be.
