Despite the changing landscape and perspective of the world, the LGBTQ community is still under extreme duress. Many public members of this community are still living in secret, afraid to come out in fear of a backlash at the hands of family and friends.
But trust celebrities to come in and save the day with their high profiles and willingness to share their orientation. That’s right, if you didn’t already know, there are tons of gay and bis*xual celebrities, and many of them have come out to make it easier for the regular person to do the same. From Don Lemon to Zachary Quinto, here are some inspirational gay celebrities.
Jim Parson & Todd Spiewak
Jim Parsons may choose to use the phrase “regular boring love” to describe his marriage to art director Todd Spiewak. But he probably doesn’t mind it after playing the eccentric and naive Sheldon Cooper in Big Bang Theory for 12 wild long years.
Their relationship predates the show since they met on a blind date set up by a mutual friend. They have been together for 18-years, and although they have been living like a married couple for a while, they only married in May 2017. Parsons starred in the recently released Netflix original film called The Boys In The Band.
