Despite the changing landscape and perspective of the world, the LGBTQ community is still under extreme duress. Many public members of this community are still living in secret, afraid to come out in fear of a backlash at the hands of family and friends.
But trust celebrities to come in and save the day with their high profiles and willingness to share their orientation. That’s right, if you didn’t already know, there are tons of gay and bis*xual celebrities, and many of them have come out to make it easier for the regular person to do the same. From Don Lemon to Zachary Quinto, here are some inspirational gay celebrities.
Catherine Bell & Brooke Daniells
Catherine Bell has a great TV career with major roles in high profile series, such as JAG, Army Wives, and The Good Witch. But she met her long term husband Adam Beason while working as a body double on the set of Death Becomes Her.
They were married in 1992 and had two children, but in 2010 sold their house, and by 2011 they were separated. Rumors circled that Bell left Beason to be with photographer and party planner Brooke Daniels, who she started seeing in 2012. They currently live together in a 3,380-foot ranch house in Hidden Hills, Los Angeles.
