Maria Bello’s most prominent roles are as tough girls in films like Coyote Ugly, Payback, The Cooler, and A History Of Violence. Yet, while her characters come across as tough, and she undoubtedly has some in her, she is actually a big softie, especially when it comes to her fiance Dominique Crenn.
At the 2020 Oscars, Bello announced that she and Crenn, a celebrated chef, got engaged in December 2019 but have had a challenging time since they fell in love. Crenn was diagnosed with breast cancer before the couple started dating. But being a tough girl, Bello vowed to stay by her partner’s side. Bello’s next film is an upcoming drama called The Water Man.
