Zsalynn Whitworth was the first person to feature on the show in its current format. She came in at 694 pounds, but instead of being monitored for seven years, she would only be on the show for one year.
She had some major obstacles, primarily because her husband actually preferred larger women and didn’t support her weight journey. Whitworth toughened up through it all and divorced him. Choosing her health and life after her, she checked in and had lost 247 pounds. Whitworth has since gotten engaged to a new man named Jack Lapp.
