Charlo Greene should probably be immortalized as the first woman in history to announce her resignation with a mic drop. While working as a news anchor for KTVA, she had to give a report on a banned substance. Rather than inform the higher-ups that there was a conflict of interest that would prevent her from performing that task, Greene chose the more dramatic option.

During her report, she suddenly announced to her colleagues and the viewers that she was an outspoken activist in favor of the legalization of said substance. She then dropped the mic and walked out of the studio.
