This is a perfect example of someone removing anything or everybody that stands in the way of attaining his goals. This deer stumbled across a duplicate of his kind, and after a few conversations, he realized he was not being taken seriously, and he couldn’t let it slide.
While the buck appears cruel, he is simply doing what he needs to do to assert his authority in the deer realm. Still, it’s not what we expected; it may be an exaggerated reaction to the decoy, and we’re curious about what he did next!

Deer are known to roam in herds at times. What we don’t realize is that a pack can number in the hundreds. They are generally peaceful animals, yet even a large herd of these gentle creatures may terrify anyone! The way these animals have congregated and are staring directly at the camera is unsettling.
Though it’s possible that the light flashed and caught their attention, we wouldn’t want to be on the other end of the line at that time. You wouldn’t know how many deer there are just by looking at the picture, but we know they are larger than the average herd, which is consequential.
