JAW-DROPPING HOMES OF UK CELEBRITIES WE WISH WERE OURS

BOBBY ROBSON – $1.1 MILLION, URPETH HALL

Bobby Robson had a dazzling football career in the ’50s and ’60s, mostly playing for Fulham, West Bromwich Albion, and Fulham before venturing into management. After steering Ipswich Town to a UEFA Cup win in 1981, he took the helm of the England national team for eight years between 1982 and 1990.

The former England icon died on July 31, 2009, after a protracted illness at his Urpeth Hall, County Durham, home, aged 76. Although its market value is unknown, Robson reportedly bought it for $1.1 million in the autumn of 2004. It has an expansive kitchen, a conservatory, and a classical triple garage.
