The retired English football player and manager Alan Shearer are now known as the game’s pundit, but he did exceptionally well during his playing days. The Premier League’s all-time leading goal scorer with 260 goals famously plied his trade with Southampton, Blackburn Rovers, and Newcastle United. The 2021 Premier League Hall of Famer is also a Premier League winner.
It’s said that money begets money, and Shearer certainly lived by that phrase in 2022 when he sold his expensive Darras Hall, Northumberland, six-bedroom home with a media center for a profit of $3.5 million. The residence was bought for $3.7 million in 2004 and sold for $7.2 million.
