They soon discovered that Mr. Doug served the country during World War II and was a veteran staying at a retirement home. He had no family and being a regular at Arby’s had miraculously provided him with one. They certainly treated him that way.
They were all amazed by his touching story and when they considered his age and health, they wondered why he chose their franchise instead of others that could offer much healthier food options. They were right to think along that line but there was something he hadn’t revealed which was a compelling reason for his choice of food.
