A Different Veteran Customer

Part of the charm in Mr. Doug’s story is that he was really pleasant as a customer. It shouldn’t surprise you that many other veteran customers may not be the same. At least, not this other regular diner who had been eating in a particular restaurant for seven years.

 

Despite his unpleasant nature, there was a waitress who served him regularly, and the highlight of his story unfolded when he stopped showing up at the diner. It was strange enough to the waitress that he didn’t show up one day, but the second day was when she began to have a bad feeling about it.
