The list of celebrities who have entertained us since the Golden and Silver Age of Hollywood is a long one. Through the decades we’ve unfortunately lost some of these stars. However, they all remain permanent fixtures in showbiz through their extensive collection of works.
Several more are still alive and kicking despite perhaps retreating from public life. Some chose to quit the industry that earned them fame, others switched careers, while several more are still going strong working in showbiz. Here’s a list of some of our favorite celebrities who are still alive and aging gracefully.
Christopher Quinten – 65
’50s-born British actor Christopher Quinten is best known for his role as Brian Tilsley in the long-running soap opera “Coronation Street.” He was a part of the show from 1978 to 1989, and critics adored his exceptional acting skills and character portrayal.
Quentin began his career as a West End productions dancer before shifting his gaze to acting. After leaving “Coronation Street,” he appeared on many chat shows and a few plays on stage. But he reportedly started working at a sensual London nightclub in 2016 and was last seen on TV as a guest actor in a 2020 episode of “Hollyoaks.”
