Max Baer Jr is the only living cast member from the ‘60s sitcom The Beverly Hillbillies. After the show concluded its run in 1971, Baer picked up guest roles in several TV shows but he struck out because of constantly being typecast. So instead, he decided to switch his focus to working behind the camera as a producer, director, and writer.
Baer seems to have retired unofficially from the showbiz industry, and we last saw him on an episode of Biography on A&E in 2004. He ventured into entrepreneurship by setting up Hillbillies-themed slot machines at several casinos.
