Hollywood Stars You Thought Were Long Gone But Are Still Alive Today
Emil Minty – 50
In 1981 the sequel to the hit Australian post-apocalyptic movie Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior was released. Emil Minty featured in the film as The Feral Kid and while he didn’t have any lines he made an impact. That’s how he landed other minor roles in The Winds of Jarrah and Fluteman.
In 1990, he appeared in The Flying Doctors, an Australian drama series, and that appears to have been his last role. Once Minty finished school he bid adieu to acting and went into the jewelry business. Since the ’90s he has held a job as the store manager at Chris Lewis Jewellers.
