Hollywood Stars You Thought Were Long Gone But Are Still Alive Today
Leonard Whiting – 72
Leonard Whiting broke into the industry when he starred in Gian Franco Corsi Zeffirelli’s 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet. He got the New Star of the Year award from the Golden Globes for the role. Before he got into acting, Whiting achieved success as a child singer.
A theatrical agent discovered Whiting when he was performing at a Jewish wedding at the age of 12. He has unofficially retired from films, but his most recent feature was in the 2015 British romantic drama Social Suicide. Whiting focused on theatrical acting and writing from the mid-70s.
