Eric Clapton boasts the title of the only three-time Rock and Hall of Fame inductee. He earned the accolade as a soloist and as a member of the British rock bands Cream, and Yardbirds. Clapton is a rock and blues songwriter, guitarist, and singer.
Clapton was a member of the Yardbirds and after the band split, he teamed up with Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker to form Cream in 1966. The band Cream also disbanded and Clapton formed another band called Blind Faith. But sadly, it also broke up after releasing one album. He continued music as a solo act and he now has 18 Grammys to his name.
