Hollywood Stars You Thought Were Long Gone But Are Still Alive Today
The list of celebrities who have entertained us since the Golden and Silver Age of Hollywood is a long one. Through the decades we’ve unfortunately lost some of these stars. However, they all remain permanent fixtures in showbiz through their extensive collection of works.
Several more are still alive and kicking despite perhaps retreating from public life. Some chose to quit the industry that earned them fame, others switched careers, while several more are still going strong working in showbiz. Here’s a list of some of our favorite celebrities who are still alive and aging gracefully.
Loni Anderson – 77
WKRP in Cincinnati is the ’70s show that got us acquainted with Loni Anderson. She went on to earn two Emmys and three Golden Globes for playing the receptionist, Jennifer Marlowe, on the show. Anderson attempted to transition to the big screen but her film career didn’t live up to her prolific TV roles.
Anderson has an uncanny resemblance to several other stars including the late Marilyn Monroe as well as Jayne Mansfield. She had the opportunity of starring in The Jayne Mansfield Story on account of how she was essentially Mansfield’s celebrity doppelganger. Anderson hasn’t left the glitz and glam of showbiz yet, but we last saw her in the TV series My Sister is So Gay.
