Bob Newhart banked on his deadpan humor to become one of the most loved comedians in America. He had immense success with his first chart-topping comedy album The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart. He also starred in George and Leo and Bob which were two short-lived ’90s sitcoms.
Newhart voiced the role of Bernard in The Rescuers Down Under and The Rescuers. He also appeared in The Librarian film and it’s TV continuation in 2014. Newhart had a recurring role as Professor Proton in The Big Bang Theory and it earned him a Primetime Emmy.
