Hollywood Stars You Thought Were Long Gone But Are Still Alive Today
Mr. T – 69
Lawrence Tureud made a name for himself at Mr. T during his wrestling days. He served in the military and started working as a club bouncer after his discharge. It wasn’t long before he became a bodyguard to the stars and it naturally progressed to a wrestling and acting career.
Mr. T made the catchphrase “I Pity the Fool” from Rocky III famous and it’s been reused in several slogans including spawning a reality show in 2006. His filmography also includes Spy Hard, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and Dancing with the Stars. He has also appeared in numerous commercials for brands like RadioShack, Snickers, and Comcast.
