Betty Lynn – 95
Betty Lynn didn’t have the easiest childhood with an absentee father who was mentally abusive. When she turned 17, Lynn auditioned and made it as part of the United States Organization’s entertainment unit. Her tours with the USO saw her stage performances across the globe including gracing the China Burma India Theatre.
Lynn ended up on the radio before making her way to Broadway and naturally transitioning to films. We remember her best from The Andy Griffith Show as Thelma Lou. Lynn has since left the industry but she frequently stays in touch with her fans through meet-ups.
