In December 2019, the Homes & Gardens website reported that former President Barack Obama had completed the purchase of his new house in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. It is built on about 30-acres and features seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Martha’s Vineyard was the Obama family’s favorite holiday spot when they lived in the White House.
Once the Obamas moved out of the White House in 2016, they bought a house in Washington before finally getting this place in 2019. In August 2021, the family announced a massive party on Barack’s birthday but canceled later. The house has a pool, a barn, and a view of the ocean.
