There’s nothing more relieving when it comes to running than reaching the final stretch. Thanks to this guy, everyone doing this running drill knows that the struggle is almost over. Our running buddy is also wearing the perfect outfit, dressed as Lakitu from the video game Mario Kart.
The character actually predates Mario Kart, debuting in the original Super Mario Brothers game. He drops enemies called spinies to the ground to stop Mario and Luigi from achieving their goals. If you didn’t know, spectators dressing up as characters and encouraging participants from the sidelines are common at running and cycling events.
