Plyometrics is a method of exercise involving jumping and skipping. The idea is to get muscles to exert maximum output, with the end goal of increasing power and producing more speed and strength. Although it looks like it’s not tiring, muscle fatigue can occur.
That could be what happened to the man in the GIF, which is why he couldn’t get himself off the ground enough to land on top of the jump step. Resting for two to five minutes between sets of these jumps would’ve helped him, allowing his legs time to recover some strength before jumping again. But this man just couldn’t give it a rest!
