They’re cost-effective and versatile since you can use one set for an array of exercises and muscle groups.

While they’re not easy to break, it’s not impossible under certain circumstances. Natural wear and tear is an obvious reason, but you can damage gym bands by wrapping them around hard objects or overstretching. They can also snap back and cause injury if you don’t hold or secure them properly, like what happened here. Ouch!
