Taking Box Jumps Up A Notch

Box jumps are probably the number one plyometric move to do. Whether you’re at home or the gym, and whether you’re doing CrossFit or MMA, there’s a box somewhere in the vicinity you can use to jump on to build some explosive power in those leg muscles.

But what do you do when your box jump gets too easy? Well, like this guy, you can make the jump a little higher, but not so much that you can only do one jump. Experts believe that powerful athletes should focus on lower boxes of 12 to 24 inches, while athletes with natural reactive strength should use boxes roughly twice as high.
