In some airports, you have the option to have your luggage wrapped in plastic. This family saw that as an inspiration and thought that wrapping themselves in plastic would allow them to stay protected from the virus while traveling. Their face masks protect their mouth and nose, but the plastic cover protects their eyes.
The cover might not be a good idea for the mother to use since the baby she’s carrying might have a hard time breathing. Hopefully, the airport staff saw their situation and gave them proper protective equipment.
