Lionel Richie & Diane Richie – Approx. $20 Million in Divorce Settlement
Soul and R&B legend Lionel Richie was inducted into the ‘Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame’ in 2022. And he also received the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song from the Library of Congress. But apart from his impressive career as a musician, Richie is also known for his highly publicized 2004 split.
Reports claim that Richie was scared to death after reading Diane Alexander’s demands in the divorce payments. And seeing as her alimony must-haves included a monthly clothing allowance, allowance for manicures, massages, and vitamins, and a plastic surgery budget, his fear is understandable. In all, Alexander got $20 million.
