Jocelyne Wildenstein is famous for many things, most of all her highly publicized divorce from the billionaire art dealer Alec Wildenstein in 1999. And when we call this one of the most expensive settlements in history, we mean it. After all, it’s not every day that a woman separating from her husband walks away with $2.5 billion.
Now that’s a lot of money. But Jocelyne got even much more. The court decided that she was entitled to $100 million each year for 13 years. However, a caveat was added specifying that she could not use any part of the alimony money for cosmetic procedures.
