Chris Martin & Gwyneth Paltrow – No Divorce Settlement
Like Usher, Chris Martin of Coldplay and the “Shakespeare in Love” actress, Gwyneth Paltrow pulled off a secret wedding in 2003. But after ten years together and two children, they initiated a conscious uncoupling or divorce, as the peasants call it.
As you’d imagine, the divorce of an artist like Martin and notable Hollywood actress like Paltrow was big news. And in 2016, two years after pulling the plug on their marriage, they reached a divorce settlement, choosing to forfeit their rights to spousal support. Then, in 2021, Coldplay released their ninth studio album, “Music of the Spheres.”
