Reality Is Just As Strange As Fiction
While many doubts have been cast about Flight 914, there are confirmed stories of passenger aircraft suddenly disappearing mid-air, too. Perhaps one of the most infamous ones is the case of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. The plane, which was a Boeing 777-200ER, was last spotted in 2014 on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
Proof that reality can just be as strange as fiction, the aircraft remains missing today despite massive search and rescue missions covering large portions of the Indian Ocean. Worse, no traces of the plane and its passengers were ever found.
