Was It A Case Of Collective Hallucination?
De la Corte and his colleagues probably thought they were suffering from a case of collective hallucination. Maybe one of their co-workers was playing a trick on them and put some hallucinogenic drugs into their coffee that morning. It sounds crazy, sure. But not as crazy as what they just witnessed.
Worse, the plane left no trace at all. No tracks or broken bits. Nothing to confirm that it existed and landed, although only briefly, at the Caracas airport that day. Nobody was ever able to explain what went down on the runway that September morning.
