Erika Slezak – One Life to Live
Erika Slezak was born in 1946 to a family of actors. Given her lineage, it was no surprise that she became the youngest student accepted to the prestigious film school Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Her stint with television began in 1971 with ABC’s One Life to Live. She starred in the show for an astounding 42 years and won a record-breaking six Daytime Emmy Awards.
In 2018, Slezak appeared on The Resident, and the following year, she was featured in the movie Guest Artist and the CBS show Blue Bloods. Slezak appeared on The Story of Soaps, a 2020 documentary presented by ABC and People Magazine.
