Ever Wondered How Life Was Back in the Day? These Vintage Images Show How Drastically the World Has Changed
Authenticity at Its Finest
The late Carl Moon was renowned for his penchant for taking beautiful photos of Native Americans. He wanted to document their culture and practices, and he did it with absolute class. This was his picture of Loti-Kee-Yah-Tede donning an intricately beaded necklace.
When Moon’s works began to gain traction, United States President Theodore Roosevelt Roosevelt invited him to the White House to discuss further projects and ideas. In 1914, the artist and his wife Grace moved to Pasadena, California, where they began to work on children’s books, with Grace writing the content and him focusing on illustrations.
