The celebrated King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, had been linked to several women during his prime, but he only married Priscilla Beaulieu. However, here he’s not with her but rather with a woman named Mary Selph. For a long time, this photograph taken in Memphis in 1972 haunted the paparazzi, who couldn’t identify the lady and only referred to her as the mystery girl with the singer.
Eventually, Selph’s mother revealed that her daughter was working as a singer and dancer when Presley’s pals saw her. Apparently, Selph also bore an uncanny resemblance to Beaulieu.
