It looked like he was trying to jive along with a music nobody else had heard but him. As a result, the older gentleman could not help but stare at him with a confused, judging, and understanding gaze.

Reading a stranger’s text conversation with someone is not an ideal thing to do. Yet, it can easily be done over public rides, and humans as we are, we are often inclined to know just anything caught by our eyes. Like this guy perfectly placed to peek into someone else business.

While there is no law for that, it is an unspoken universal role to not meddle in others’ conversations. Yet if the situation tempts you and you have already done so, the best thing is to stay silent and move on. Plus, we all should have learned a lesson to maintain a safe distance from strangers.
