Peacocking Done Wrong
We’ve seen a lot of wings used in popular design but never for a wedding dress. While high-end fashion houses like Victoria’s Secret parade its Angels each year, their wings haven’t got anything on these enormous peacock-inspired creations. The tallest feather stands almost double the bride’s height.
With a band in her hand and a train that looks treacherous, she can only be strong if she’s expected to carry that weight around all night. There’s a reason that designers stick to fashion that is lightweight and alluring rather than gigantic and foreboding.
