Prego, Not Preggo!
Many families enjoy having pasta for dinner. No issue with that at all. But who knew that liking Italian food can lead to hilariously awkward misunderstandings like this one? We’ve got to admit, though, Prego and preggo (as in pregnant) are both spelled and pronounced almost identically.
That said, we do feel a bit sorry for the daughter in this text convo. Despite not asking for it, she’s now privy to some personal information about her folks. On the bright side, maybe Prego—yes we’re talking about the sauce brand—can find their new ad catchphrase from this exchange.
