An Out-Of-This-World Lie
Just like emojis, emoticons can be difficult to master for an older parent. This mom, for example, was even tricked by her son into believing that this inappropriate emoticon was just a happy smiling alien. He even came up with another out-of-this-world lie to explain the other one.
The joke’s on him, though. Now, that their sibling has told their mom the truth, he’ll have a lot of explaining to do. He’ll definitely be in big trouble if she had used those same emojis when texting with her friends or co-workers.
