A worry-free life may be an excuse for some to settle into mediocrity. But not Kate. She was synonymous with excellence. From her days at Downe House School, until she became a boarder at Marlborough College, Catherine was one of the top students in each school.

It didn’t all end with books, though. She also showed great aptitude for athletics, so it made sense that she would captain the women’s field hockey team. While at Marlborough, Kate prepared for the next stage of her education. She obtained three A-Levels, gaining an automatic seat to study at the University of Edinburgh.
