Returning to London
Despite what the press chose to say about Kate’s preference for the countryside, it was clear that she needed the respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. After a blissful few years, she and William returned to Kensington Place.
They had a lot of plans to renovate the proper and even build a basement extension. And once the couple arrived in London, it was business as usual. They had little time to themselves between family life, official duties, and engagements. So it was always worthwhile for Kate and William to settle in at the end of a particularly long day and unwind.
