Once the couple got the news that a group of fans had gathered outside the hospital, sleeping in tents at night and waving placards by day, they couldn’t bear the thought of anyone falling ill. So they sent pastries and hot coffee to the makeshift camp.
Being in London during the pregnancy took such a toll on Kate that she couldn’t wait to leave the city after the birth of her daughter. So the couple set out for a remote country home later in the year. Their destination this time was the 10-bedroom Anmer Hall which the Queen had given as a wedding gift.
