Kate and William were on holiday in Kenya when the Prince finally popped the big question. Of all the exotic locations in the world, he chose a cabin on the side of Mount Kenya to ask Kate to marry him. And, of course, she said yes.
Kate has since confirmed that the moment was very romantic. They had been discussing marriage for a while, so it wasn’t a massive surprise. However, it felt right for the question to come while they had a wonderful time in a beautiful place. It’s also adorable that Prince William carried the ring around in his rucksack for three weeks before the engagement.
