Dakota Fanning rose to fame as a child star in films like I Am Sam, Sweet Home Alabama, and Man On Fire. Fanning has often worked without taking a break but decided in 2008 to stop being homeschooled and start attending regular school.
She attended Campbell Hall in Los Angeles, and as part of her regular school experience, Fanning joined the cheer squad. She still worked, though, and during her first year at the school, The Secret Life Of Bees debuted at number three. Fanning has two upcoming films in the pipeline: One is called The Nightingale, opposite her sister Elle, and another called The Bell Jar.
